About Our Club

The mission of the Lhasa Apso Club of Northern California is to encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Lhasa Apsos, and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection. In our pursuits of doing so, LACNC urges members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which the Lhasa Apso shall be judged. The LACNC will to do all in our power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows. As a club, LACNC will conduct sanctioned matches, and specialty shows under the Rules and Regulations of The American Kennel Club.
